Frequently Asked Questions

1. I have received an email from Louise, what should I do now?
-
Louise will be in contact with you. But if you have any immediate concerns, please feel free to give Louise a call on her mobile.

2. What does this mean for me?
-
Initially you will see no change. Louise will be engaged by Absolute Wealth Advisers (AWA) and will continue on as your adviser with us. As part of your annual review we will introduce you to your new AWA adviser and Louise will work with you and us to help you make the move to AWA. Louise will continue to provide licensed advice as authorised by Paragem Pty Limited (ABN: 16 108 571 875, AFSL No. 297276)

3. What’s going to happen with my investments?
Do I need to sell anything?
-
Please be assured, there will be no change whatsoever to your investment holdings. The only changes to your holdings that may be required will be discussed with you at your first meeting with AWA, which Louise will attend.

4. What if I don’t want to be a client of Absolute Wealth Advisers?
-
You always have a choice. However, as your long-term adviser, Louise has thoughtfully recommended that you transition to Absolute Wealth Advisers. With Louise's careful guidance throughout the process, we’re confident your experience with AWA will be both beneficial and rewarding. However, you are free to choose your own adviser, though we would greatly appreciate the chance to discuss your options before you make any decision.

5. Who will be my new adviser?
-
Your new adviser will be Paul Barrett, Stella Norberti, Anthony McInnes, or Ross Marais. Louise has thoughtfully reviewed each client’s needs and played a key role in personally matching you with the adviser she believes is best suited for you.

6. Why can’t I stay a client of Louise’s if she is staying with Absolute Wealth Advisers?
-
Louise’s goal is to ensure a smooth transition as your adviser. During this period, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know the entire Absolute Wealth Advisers team, so you’ll feel well-acquainted and comfortable with everyone who supports your financial needs.

7. What will change?
-
Initially, nothing changes. When it’s time for your annual review, Louise’s existing team will run the meeting, just as they always have, so you won’t notice any difference. Absolute Wealth Advisers will join the process to introduce your new adviser (if you haven’t met them already).
-
We’ll ensure all your information, provided by Louise, is up-to-date and accurate. We'll then guide you through a risk profile review to make sure our advice is tailored to your needs. Afterward, we’ll prepare a Foundation Statement of Advice summarising the meeting, which will serve as the basis of our ongoing relationship.

8. Will my fees change?
-
Your fees and fee structure will stay the same for the initial 12 months. Nothing will change throughout the period.
